King Chulalongkorn and Thailand’s First University

our-ASEAN.blogspot.com - Thailand's first university was established in 1917 and named after the king - Chulalongkorn Mahawitthayalai, Thai students refer to this as a noble institution, 'Chula'.

King Chulalongkorn (Thai: พระ ปิยะ มหาราช), or better known as King Rama V, was one of the first Thai king to travel and visit distancing the kingdom of Siam in Europe and announced to the world.
