Htauk Kyant War Memorial Cemetery located in Mingaladon Township, Yangon Division about 32 miles from Yangon, on the way to Bago. There have grave stones 27000 Commonwealth and Allied Forces Soldiers Fall in Burma Campaign during World War II honored stored. The cemetery is a quiet, peaceful and beautifully kept land maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Fifty kilometers southeast of Bagan in Central Myanmar at the base of Mount Popa is a solitary peak topped by a golden stupa.
