Uniquely Culture of ASEAN

1. Filipino Culture - "KUYA" and "ATE"

Philippine culture is very big on respect. The older a person, the more they call for respect. The term 'kuya' (pronounced koo-yah) refers to men who are older, it means 'brother'.
